Making wooden surfboards
My brother Tim and I make wooden surfboards and skateboards in our workshop in Brighton. We call them ‘Blackstock Boards’, using our family’s Irish name. We aim to avoid greenwashing. We don’t use fibreglass. We don’t use foam. We don’t use paints or chemical sealants. We use wood and stuff we’ve salvaged from the trash, so our boards are properly kind to the world. Our website is coming soon. Get in touch if you’re interested.
